Ethan posted this on facebook this afternoon. There was a power outage last night and I have just gotten internet back (it was weird and uneven all day. The issue, I realized was with the Wifi, so I’m on the ethernet cable.) We got about 4 inches of snow today. I walked to class to ground all white and pretty heavy snow fall. When I got back from class, I went to lunch and stole a tray to use as a sled. Most of the snow melted by the late afternoon, but there is still enough in the shadows to make snowballs. Econ exam tomorrow, psych test monday, fuck! Last night I got down on one knee, offered Will a beer, and asked him if he would live with me next year. He said,”yes!” (!!!!) So, at least Will and I are living together next year. Hopefully in a Caples suite. I just hope he (or whoever else joins our party) will have higher lotto numbers because mine will be lower due to getting written up.
Speaking of which, all eight of us are going to our meeting concerning “underage consumption/possession in Norton Residence Hall” next wednesday. It should be fun.
Tomorrow is going to be a muddy and icy mess. Oh well, its friday.

This is the night we got dressed up and then drank 40’s, sometime in early November.

On friday night we were all written up by the RA’s. They knocked on the door to Nick and James’ room and someone opened the door open real wide. eight of us were in side and for six of us, it was our first time. Unfortunately, Nick and James have been written up once before. The first time is no big deal, but the second time carries a few consequences. At least it happened late in the semester (records are wiped clean at the end of each semester.)
More importantly, no one was binge drinking in the room like the rest of the freshman class. it was pretty responsible of the kids in the room (I had just arrived) to not be pounding shots from a cheap handle of vodka followed by powerade chasers to get drunk before going out. they had actually been drinking jug wine—and not to excess.
Saturday night started late, after we saw Ellen perform, we went back to the dorm and made some rum and cokes from the last of Will’s rum. Suddenly, Marcie, Ryan, and a tall guy who reeked of pot busted down the door. Marcie did her whole “I’M SO DRUNK!!! BLAAH! I HAD TWO SHOTS OF VODKA! BLAAAH!” thing before rolling on the floor. However, I think she might have actually have been genuinely drunk last night, because security allegedly had to be called for Good Samaritan. Well, we got out of there really quickly because it was obnoxious and headed South because Kiera wanted us to come to the Field Hockey end of season party. Maybe because it was about 25 degrees last night or because term is ending soon, for an Old Kenyon kegger it was small. So small, that there weren’t enough bartenders and I had to reach across to pump the keg. But we hung out for a while there, my friends Jack and AJ invited me to go to their room and then check out the New Apartments party so I left south campus and walked back to their room where we drank better whiskey than I’d had before but still wasn’t great whiskey. After leaving there, we went to New Aps, but we stayed there shortly. Then we went to the DragonCave in Caples which was fun like always. Around 230, I left to come home and fell asleep.
5 days ago • 0 notesA few weeks ago I had a crazy dream that you figured into. I don’t know if you saw it, but I blogged about it. We did not start a business nor did we have sex. You just drank all my beer.
1 week ago • 1 noteI LOVE that no one knows what they are or how they come from or why they happen! I love thinking that there is something in this world that is left to discover. I love the mystery.
So I’m researching dream books to find one that I would like for Christmas, and I found a review of one that included this excerpt:
“Also, the author avoids some of the more interesting dream contents, such as sex. Dreams about sex are described as your interest in “combining forces” with another person. I don’t know about you, but when I dream about Cindy Crawford, it’s not because I think she and I could start a business together.”HAHAHHAA
I went to middle school with Carlos Sousa Jr. He taught me the lyrics to “Colt 45” in seventh grade and sat in front of me in 8th grade social studies.

As soon as my 940 class ended at 1100, I ate lunch. Then I proceeded to work diligently for the rest of the day. I have a psychology exam tomorrow. It won’t be too bad. I had a good lunch with Edith and Talia (and, briefly, Nick F). I spent the afternoon in Gund Study Lounge before heading over to the library to start my final group project for Gullah Culture of the term. I ate dinner with Becca, which was pleasant. We only seem to hang out in the hours following any business regarding Gullah Culture. She is having a good time here, too. Her weekends are consistent sources of adventure. For a freshman, she knows really cool upperclassmen. After dinner, I camped out in Gund Commons with Sara and Mark, studying more psychology. Eventually, Everett arrived and quizzed us thoroughly. I came back to the dorm and ate a bowl of cereal and shaved. Josh offered me a beer and I drank it with him and Will before calling it a night. I am looking forward to tomorrow because I will be done with my psych exam and then will go out for some back to school revelry. Will is really good at Beirut (though we’ve never won) and I’ve been feeling like going out and meeting new people again. 810 economics class tomorrow followed by two hours of breakfast and cramming before psychology. I will most likely nap all tomorrow afternoon. We aren’t doing anything in Gullah on thursday other than cooking traditional Gullah/West African/Geechee food.
